Is there any better word for Corey Dog than “feisty and opportunistic” (okay two words). Corey Dog, a driver of fierce line drives, never had any problem with an ump’s call or an opposition comment—as long as they agreed with him. Otherwise, be ready. Never short for words or cleats in a showdown, Corey Dog was stoppable by only one other major player: Mother Corey Dog. If she (meaning Mother Corey Dog) sensed any beverage other than Dr. Pepper on Corey’s Dog breath, she was sure to lock up the red headed pup for the night. But one way or another that Corey Dog jumped that fence, and remained a constant on the Dog Roster and the Frosty Mug.
